When Carl from the NHS communications team contacted us, he needed some pop up stands for a new campaign the NHS was about to run.
He told us he already had the artwork but needed some good quality pop up stands to use in hospitals in the area. He needed good quality material because they had to last.
Martin (our print expert) sprung into action. He prepared our large format printing machine with UltraChrome inks (they give a dazzling photographic image quality) and set to work.
Here’s what Carl had to say:
“I have worked with AKS for over fifteen years and always received an outstanding service. Printed materials are of the highest quality and at a good price. Staff are great to work with and offer professional advice as and when I need it.”
When Ashley from Arrival Marketing came to see us she wasn’t sure where to begin with her branding. As a new business she knew she wanted to stand out and make an impact.
She came in and met with our lead designer, Ben. They discussed what colours she liked (bright and bold or maybe pastels…), her target market (women in business) and the message she wanted to get across to clients (professional and cutting edge).
Armed with this information Ben set to work. He sent some initial designs to Ashley for review.
Although Ashley liked these ideas, she asked Ben for some bolder colours and if he could also incorporate a logo.
This is what Ben sent next:
Ashley LOVED the pink/red design and was really happy with Ben’s work. Ben even sent different sized digital images of the logo that would fit all of her social media accounts.
The final branding package looked like this:
Here’s what Ashley had to say:“The level of service I received from AKS (Ben the designer in particular) was outstanding. Ben was happy to make changes until I was pleased with the design, and responded to my emails within minutes. I’ll definitely be recommending AKS.”
We were contacted by Laura from DHL because she needed some NCR (No Carbon Required) printing. NCR printing is popular because you can make copies of handwritten documents without the need for electronics.
Laura wasn’t sure whether she wanted an NCR set, pad or book so Paul (the owner of AKS) guided her through the benefits of each one. For those that aren’t aware, an NCR set is a set of loose sheets, a pad is 50 sets glued together and a book is 50 sets glued together which are perforated and bound with black binding tape.
Laura decided to go ahead with NCR pads because they’re nice and easy to use.
Here’s what Laura had to say:
“I would recommended AKS print as they are helpful, fast, efficient and great quality.”
